The Best Vampire Film Of All Time?? - Blu-ray Forum

What do u feel is the best vampire film? There are some truly classics here. This should be tough and interesting. I tried to list all the good and important ones that I believe would be able to get votes. Also give thoughts of your favorites and the worst vampire film You've seen as well. I start it off with my take:

Best: I Am Legend & Blade (voted for I Am Legend as I feel it is almost a perfect film)

Favorites: Along with the 2 above: Fright Night, From Dusk Til Dawn, & The Lost Boys

Worst: Blood Rayne & Ultraviolet

Thoughts and votes? Got Em!!

Yo Squidpuppet I was surprised that u think 30 Days of Night is the best vampire film! I know how critical u are of movies in general and even to me that movie was ok but far from the best and again I wouldnt have guessed that wouldve been your choice. What do u like about that one so much? Got Em!!

You put stuff like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Bordello of blood", "Ultraviolet" or "Blood Rayne", but none of the classic Hammer films with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee (at the very least "Horror of Dracula" and "Brides of Dracula")?

I wanted to put a variety of films. I already listed the great early movie like Nosferatu and Dracula. No need for the Hammer films. I didnt list every single movie. I felt I covered the older films with the best ones they offered. feel free to reply with it though. Got Em!!

It was an easy winner for me because I, unlike most folks, have NEVER liked the traditional vampires. Romantic and well dressed, intelligent and articulate and sly. So when 30 Days popped up, and they were just carniverious hunting machines focused on killing and eating, displaying no manners or etiquette, it was love at first sight. Plus I liked how they had a pack mentality and hunting skills.

More evil = more fun for me.
