Yeah, kinda dumb to include Saw 1 by default, since most buying part 6 will likely own part 1. But whatever...

I know someone I work with who likes Saw and has a PS3 so I'll just hit him in the head with it after I get it.

Well, I never bought the first Saw since it's missing most of the DVD extras. I only have II-V on Blu-ray. So including the first one with VI is actually perfect for me. Of course it'll likely be the same bare bones disc they've had out there for years, so I'll hang onto the DVD copy as well.

Yep, every Saw thread people feel the need to comments on how they want the sequels to stop. Anyways I really liked 6, so I will be grabbing this. I am assuming that the orginal will be a blu-ray packaged with 6. Any chance of this being a new video encode? If not I will just give my buddy who is just getting into blu.

That would be great, but I think we know better.

ehhh...now I here they're planning up to part 9- so you could be waiting a LONG time!?!?
I've only got the last 2 on blu...rest on DVD though, so maybe a boxset would be a good excuse to upgrade!

I enjoyed Saw VI a lot. Much better then Saw IV and V but not as good as Saw and Saw III. I'm glad they are giving us the original Saw instead of a Digital Copy. I can just trade it the original Saw since I already own it. It serves me more purpose than a Digital Copy since I usually just give them to my friends.

I missed this one in theaters and so can't wait to pick it up. I don't see the need for the extra copy of Saw I, but it's not a biggie, so long as the price isn't jacked up at all, which I doubt would happen in the first place.

IMO, Saw VI was one of the best sequels in the franchise. Highly superior to the last two outings and almost as good as the original first two films.

I'm assuming the reasoning behind including the original film as Lionsgate has hundreds of extra copies of it lying around that haven't been sold.

Curious to see if the BD set will include the original BD disc of Saw or if it'll end up being a new BD or, worse, a DVD copy.

Great! I dont own any yet.. if the package is nice I may get it now..
I was hoping for a nice 6-logy but since there is no end to the suffering (pun intended) I will just begin to buy them one by one..

Same. Actually, I only own 5 on Blu-Ray. Haven't upgraded any of them yet.

Can't wait for Saw VI. The series is awesome. Looks like decent extras this time also.

including the original Saw is alright only if they update the menu's to look like their current releases instead of the those early ugly liongates menus....but thats just me, other then that, its a waste of a release...... LIonsGate needs to just wait to the end of the series and release an awesome box set pref. shaped like a trap or saw...lol

Actually the writers recently said in a interview that they are pretty sure that Saw VII will be the last one. Sucks that it's gonna be in 3-D though.
