Curious as to where you get your software from? Is it ok to ask about torrents here?

Not finding much on torrents for Macs unless I am missing something?

Looking for some info or a forum I can talk about that stuff at

i get my Mac software from the Apple store in my local mall.
i suggest GarageBand

No there not. Ebooks, White Papers, Demos etc etc.

You can get many cool things right from Apple.com in the downloads section. Also, Garage Band came with mine installed... but I've never used it.

Yes, CS3 Extended. Free with an education discount. I also have Dreamweaver CS3.

Wrong.

I use torrents all of the times to download legal contents such as freewares, sharewares, demos, fan movies, independent movies from independent filmmakers, eBooks and movies that are in the public domains, the list goes on and on.

Beleive it or not, that is one of the reasons I am buying a Mac. Your widget was a constant reminder for me.

There are some great little proggies on the Apple site.

Most of the torrents I have seen are either not seeded well, have password encryption, are incomplete, have a virus or can be downloaded easily elsewhere. It does tick me off to see the CS3 up for download after I purchased the entire package for 400 bucks(student discount).

They were talking about this on a different forum, check out this video:

DrinkMore, sorry about the piracy accusations. As you can tell, I'm really against it. I've had a friend get a 8,000$ fine, so I try to do anything I can to prevent it.
