Well, it WAS dark- maybe she didn't notice? But then again she must've been pointing it at the screen or she wouldn't have gotten ANY footage.
Probably the bedazzler vampires blinded the camera and that's why she got no footage. ![]() |

No, the cop should have looked at what was on the camera, laughed at the manager who called them, then tweeted about it and updated his facebook.

22 is still a teenager in the usa
![]() and current movie piracy laws are now criminal, instead of civil, carrying weight and penalties greater than manslaughter ( a form of murder). so as a society we are saying we (the studios) place more value on their intellectual property than human life. there are now federal and state laws specific to individuals with recording devices in movie theaters. hopefully the judge throws this one out. there was no intent to record the movie here, and in fact none of the movie was recorded. |

I call "Bulls***"
She was unfamiliar with the settings such that she couldn't simply turn it off, yet she was able to shoot stills and switch the camera to the video function. I would like to see more people get collared who play around with personal electronics in the theater after the lights go down--particularly you cell phone people. |

the new antipiracy laws have granted theater employees power of arrest in cases of piracy. so the cop cant refuse, he is required by law to accept the arrest and custody of the individual. he can however, release the person right there from his custody. but the case must still be handled by the court.

Charges dropped:
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...jzJyAD9CH7LE83 Seems it was entirely a state law matter. Theater called police with a complaint. Police made arrest. Upon further investigation, suspect was released. Pretty straightforward. |
