Default Blind Buys: Inglorious Basterds and Rome

I'm planning to blind buy this ones:

Inglorious Basterds using coupons (worth $8 bucks)
Rome: The Complete Series (around $50 bucks after BB 50% off)

Look at my collection and tell me are they worth it?

I wouldn't hesitate spending $8 on IB it's an excellent movie. I'll let someone else guide you with purchasing Rome though.

INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS is, for me, the best film of the year so far.

How do you obtain a BB 50% off coupon for Rome?

I don't think it's a coupon, but just a promotion they have going on. Don't quote me on that, though.

I liked the movie quite a bit, but I found it to be a little slow at times. I thought it was gonna be more about busting Nazi skulls. We hardly see any of the Basterds real exploits on that except for the beginning. I was a little disappointed. Still a good movie though.

Its more about the tension that surrounds the basterds as each scene unfolds. Its not like they are in an environment that allows them free reign to manslaughter every opponent they see. They are more covert in their operation. And you cant really complain about the ending it was basherrific!

FYI- BB will more than likely jack the price of Rome back up to MSRP which is about $140 be prepared to pay around $60-$70 and not 50% off there $99.99 price listed right now when the Sale hits on Sunday...

I picked it up on Amazon just last week for $60 and I watched the 1st 2 Ep. so far and it's pretty dang good.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. And to answer the 50% off it's a promotion starting on sunday, all HBO Series at 50%off.

I'm actually going to blind buy Basterds tomorrow as well. Can't beat the coupon price. If I was half as excited to use coupons for food as I am for blus, I would probably save hundreds a month on my grocery bill.

Bestbuy will PM their own website. Hopefully its still at the sale price come Sunday. Or another B&M store has it cheap.

I bought Inglorious Bastards as well if you can get it cheap then might as well. The way I look at BD now if I can get it under $15 its a deal. Anything over $15 I start to 2nd guess myself and only buy the great BD.

Even if BB jacks it up if you can snag it for about $60 which I think it might go for do it. I'm trying to watch 2 ep a night.
