Default $799 and no LPCM?!?

I was just looking out of curiosity (please don't shoot me) and I noticed that Toshiba's HD-XA2 cost $799 and doesn't offer uncompressed PCM audio. Am I missing something? I thought they were supposed to be cheaper? My $500 PS3 60GB has this feature.

HD-XA2:
Audio:
High-performance SHARC® DSP
Dolby® Digital Plus 5.1ch
Dolby® TrueHD 5.1ch
DTS® 5.1ch
DTS® HD (core only)
CD, CD-R/-RW (CD-DA)

It does. When it decodes Dolby THD it passes as PCM.

There are virtually no discs with PCM on them because of the bandwidth issues.
