Pioneer Elite VSX-91txh - need help

Hi Guys,


I am experiencing some issues with my pioneer elite vsx-91 reciever and need a little assistance. I have recently noticed a low frequency hum coming from my reciever as soon as I power it up. It is very slight but I had never noticed this sound before....

Could one of you guys experiment with your elite 91txh and see if the hum is also present??


...the reason for the concern is that I am getting frequent glitches when DTS Master engages and I fear the unit may be defective...

Sounds like a ground loop issue. Read BD's sticky: Ground Hum & Ground Loop Isolators to help determine if your issue is consistent with what BD's sticky states. Good luck!
