I was wondering about this. My wife's boss recommended it..We netflixed a few discs...freaking awesome show. Some really dark stuff. Hopefully season 1 comes to Blu as well.

I haven't watched this show but maybe I'll rent the first season and if I like it I'll buy the season 2 Blu. This show has gotten tons of awards so it seems worth watching, and my other "mature" Sunday shows are done for the year (Dexter, Mad Men).

This will be a good one to pick up, but I just hope they have it uncensored. It seems they shot the show with alot of language, etc but on AMC it's always just beeped out.

Also, for the above poster wondering when the new one starts...March 2010.

Seems we always have to wait almost 1 full year between seasons which sucks!

Vince Gilligan(creator) said they had two choices, either don't use language, or use it knowing it will get cut out anyway.
He didn't want to shoot it without ever using swearwords, so he decided to go with the second choice. Which I think was a good one. I'm sure the BD is uncensored.

Anyway, I was so delighted when I saw the announcement for this. I've been waiting for it to happen for quite a while now.

Now we just need Season 1 to go Blu as well.

The DVDs are uncensored. Even boobs were in the first episode.

AMAZING news. The HD broadcasts looked insane.

I figured they'd do s1 and 2 on Blu before 3 started airing in March.

This is the best show currently on TV, bar none.

Im not surprised to not see a S1 release first... S2 is the most recent and is what will get people caught up on the show for S3 starting shortly after. They know if people want to see what happens in S1 that bad they will have to buy the DVD (and then double dip later) or rent it. Also TV on DVD has not been selling that well so why take the risk of putting out both seasons

Great news that season 1 is coming too. I was on the fence about watching the show because I really didn't want to watch season 1 on DVD but now I'll definitely get both seasons on Blu-ray. Hopefully there will be some sort of deal if you buy both seasons.
