Looks like the complete boxset may have put people off, and so individual seasons will now be available on blu-ray from February 15th 2010

Will these be region free like the complete set?

Yes. I'd imagine they will be duplicate discs, just in season specific packaging.

Well the US is getting individual ones so it's not because people were pissed off.

I hope the UK ones come with a slipcase. If they dont, I'm going for the US ones

It's more expensive to buy them all individually than it is to buy the complete series set. I know which I'll go for.

yeah but you would be buying a season every what? 2-3 months? some people cant drop 180-250 on a complete series.. i have other shit to buy and bills to pay

ill be doing the sets as they come out.. might cost more but im not paying that much for a complete set when it would take me 6-8 months to watch them all anyways.

At the moment the Complete Series is £109 on Amazon. Not bad at all!!

Although i am a total moron for buying this when i don't have 150 to blow right now i went ahead and bit on it, i get my income tax check this month so i figured i would go ahead and splurge a little

my fiance is going to be pissed when she finds out i dropped 150 on a dvd set but should be excited when she sees it is BSG

before the order completely goes through can anyone confirm 3 things for me?

1.This will play on a US ps3 right?
2.The quality is the same as the US version?
3.Does it have burnt in subtitles? i know some UK BR sets have burnt in subs

It's an exact copy of the US disc. I just just mine yesterday They are no burnt in sub..

i feel sick to my stomach spending this much when i don't have it to spend right now maybe ill head over to H&R block tomorrow and get my income early although it will cost me $

oh well frak it i deserve it i have been working my ass off and deserve to spoil myself

cannot wait to watch it my only complain is i really do not like the packaging i mean i know disc protection wise its 100000x better then the US set but it just looks ugly to me

If the disk layout is going to be the same as the who set then the mini series will most likely be bundled with season one.

I can't speak for others but what I would of prefered with the mini series is that they had it as the one 3 hour feature like they did on DVD rather then split into 2 parts like they did on TV.

The BSG set does not have The Plan and Caprica.

The Plan and Caprica have to be brought seperatly if you want them.

The Mini Series is included with the set.

Is it 1 standard sized blu ray box or 2 per season?

The ones I've seen were in single BD keepcases with a slipcase for each, so that's... 5 in total, I think, excluding The Plan.

I almost finished LOST, now I am turning to BSG. Its my first time into this series and planning to shop each season separately. If I buy Individual seasons is there any content I'm missing from complete series? Please advice....Thanks.
