I each movie in the blu-ray 3 pack shrink wrapped ? or are they unshrink wrapped in their cases and only shrink wrap is on the cardboard slip case ?

if the items are individually shrink wrapped, is the upc codes blocked on each case ?

They are each shrink wrapped and each one has the bar code for them they are not covered

Yep, individually shrinkwrapped. I was actually able to bring in my sealed Jay & Silent Bob (already had that one) and exchange it at Best Buy for District 9 last week. That really made the $38.99 Gold Box purchase a deal!
