Default Men in black blu vs. Superbit dvd ???

First I had the 2 disc DVD ($9.37), then the Superbit DVD ($9.38) now I'm eyeing the Blu Ray...obviously, I've saved big $ already, but is the Blu an upgrade in y'all's opinions ????

never looked to the superbit dvd but the blu-ray release is an exemple of quality! both picture and audio (which should be a more important upgrade)

Blu-Ray will always look better than a DVD (even if it's a super-bit).

I was in the same boat-- the superbit was a nice release--

the bottom line is when I take dvd's and play them today-- even releases that I thought were great at the time-- look a lot less impressive now that
I'm used to the hi-def picture.

MEN IN BLACK is not a top drawer release but it's still a worthwhile upgrade
in my opinion

If you really like Men In Black than get the blu, never saw the super bit version but had the standard dvd. Was very impressed with the blu release, it's miles ahead of the regular dvd release.

If you had the money to buy your dream car. Would you buy it or opt for the previous model?

Interesting...I outgrew the caring about cars ( or changed I should say), but my love for film and music has never left me !?!? The car just gets me back home to the Home Theater ! but I get your point thanks. And Happy New Year to everybody too.

MikeZ.,

Yes, get Men In Black on Blu-ray! It is a clear step upward, and the price is right. Such a highly entertaining movie (you know that already) and the PQ/AQ, although not quite reference, are top-notch.

I have the Superbit DVDs of Gattaca and Spiderman I. The BD releases of both of those titles are a very nice upgrade, especially Spiderman.

Men in Black is amazing on Blu Ray.

And,... like someone pointed out... It's $13 at Walmart if you have a local Walmart.

$12.49 @ Amazon. Wasn't price, that low price + the low prices I paid for the previous two made the choice obvious. I'm saying is it like THE FUGITIVE, or others that I've read of here where it's better or equal to just keep the DVD, because the Blu really WASN'T an upgrade.
You all have made it crystal clear that for PQ & AQ, YES...it's an upgrade.

Not even close, the BD is superior to super-bit.
