Default Speaker stands for energy CB-100 & CB-50?? Help!

Well I just picked up some energy CB-10 for my fronts and CB-5 for surrounds. Was wondering what all you energy owners use as your speaker stands. Iam lookig for something that is not to bulky, adjustable and inexpensive of course.

Are you sure they're not CB-10 and CB-5?

Here read a bit on this thread and see what people have but VTI BLE 101 or 201 are great set of speaker stands.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...=98103&page=50

I posted those links fir the VTI stands

Really hard to find something adjustable for less than 100$

So you went the new Conoisseur line route. Congrats on the purchase! Nice for ht they will perform really well i'm sure since they are brighter than the old ones but may I ask what receiver you have? Are you planning to get a CC-10 or CC-5?

yeah thats what I meant. Well for sub I was thinking of the hsu stf-2 but I was trying to keep it under 250. So Im not sure what else I could go with. But if can find an stf-2 for 300 I will jump on it.

Im also unsure of what cables and gauge size I should use for speaker wire, Ive read some people reccommend some plain ole 14 gauge wire from home depot

There is a sticky about a coat hanger and monster cbles.

Yes your regular 14 gage from Home Depot will be great. I use generic 12 and 14 gage Speaker wires. It's not like your going to need 100ft of wiring per speaker. Wire wont generate enough resistance to alter the sound.

Good choice on the sub can't go wrong with that even at 350 but the ED A2-250 for 325 is even better.

Hsu subs are awesome subs. Arrt Vandellay used to have that same sub, and said it is a very good sub, the eD subs are great to Price to performance is excellent.

14 gauge speaker wire will be perfect. home depot is fine.

+1 on the stf-2, very good sub for the $$$. very musical and can definitely hold its own for ht as well in a average sized room...

I appreciate the warm welcome and suggestions. I will try and post some pics as soon as I hook everyting up and find a nice TV stand that compliments my furniture. Be warned though It may take a few weeks.

As far as the sub goes Im probably just gonna spend the extra $100 and get the STF-2.
