Have just noticed on Zavvi.com, M. Night Shyamalan - Box Set Blu-ray

The image shows "The village" in the collection but on description it is not in the collection

Really like this film and it would look great on bluray i feel.

Weird how his other films have come out on blury...

I feel this is an underrated movie of M. Night's. Yeah it's kinda stupid and dull, but i like the atmosphere and the music is just incredible! I'd buy it on Blu Ray just to hear James Newton Howard's masterful score in HD

I watched 'The Village' for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it.
I hope it's going to be released on Blu-ray.

Oddly, this is by far my favourite of all his films, and the only one I'd go out of my way to buy on Blu-ray (I don't even own the DVD and have held off for years hoping for a Blu-ray release). If they can release the Last Bloody Airbender (that title still makes me giggle like a school boy) then surely then can release this?

For me The Lady in the Water was one of the worst movies that I have seen. Each to their own though.

The Village was one of those movies I took the wife to see and felt bad for the poor choice afterwards, not to mention waste of money.

He made a great threesome of movies then it's been downhill from there.

I love The Village. I can see why some people don't, even if I disagree with what they find fault with. It's not a perfect film but, for me, the pros very much outwiegh the cons - fantastic acting, lush cinematography (it would look wonderful on blu-ray), an incredibly beautiful score, a deceptively great script, a wonderfully romantic and tragic tone to it all... I'd buy the blu-ray, day one.

While I really like Signs, Unbreakable and the Village personally I think the Sixth Sense is his strongest movie, that last scene gets me every time pretty much because if how good Hayley is at the end.

Ditto that. Signs, The Sixth Sense, and The Village are the only great films M. Night Shyamalan has made. He's such a hit and miss director.
