Default Best sound system for Bluray movies

I am a first time buyer for a sound system. And I need something that can produce good sound for a cheap price. I need a good sound system that ranges between 200-400$ bucks.

Are you looking for an ENTIRE system for $400? As in receiver, speakers, and blu-ray player? Even if you're not looking for a blu-ray player, I believe you're going to have to up your budget some.

That sound system is not very Bluray friendly. Not only does it not handle the new audio codecs ( Formats ) that come on blurays but I'm sure it's very difficult to upgrade.

I looked at your gallery and I think this combo would be perfect for you.

Denon AVR-590 for $206.99

Polk RM 6750 for $229.99

Now this is over your budget by a few bucks, but it will make you brag to anyone on how it sounds.

The Denon is a refurb, nothing wrong with refrub, ecost is a authorized dealer for Denon. This Denon has everything you need, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, 3 HDMI inputs and a lot more.

The Polk RM 6750 is a really nice system, I heard it and was going to get it and connect it to my Denon 789, but when my apartment got broken into my plans changed.

For a bedroom, I think this is a fantastic deal. I had listed in another thread the Denon AVR-790 for $273, but that sold out so fast.

Both prices for the Denon's are Unbelievable. I know I bought a refurb Denon 789 for $400 last year.

You can use that receiver, then add these Jamo speakers for $20 more, they will be better then the RM6750.

http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/it..._c=site_search

now it doesn't have a sub, but you could save up for an Acoustic Audio sub for $88-160

I could have given better speakers and even a better receiver and that would have taken well over the budget that was talked about in the OP.

You just went over by almost $200

Also, this is for a bedroom, not a theater
