Default How many TVs do you have in your house?

How many television sets are there in your house? I'm talking functioning sets that you use day-in, day-out.

And if you own more than one house, stick to the house you spend the most time in.

Two, currently. My main theater in my living room, and an old Zenith 20" CRT in my bedroom, which has a Philips MCD700 "micro theater" DVD 2-channel system that actually makes bedside movie watching immensely more enjoyable over TV speakers. It's quite a nice little system, which offers a subwoofer out (don't have a sub on it, though) as well as optical/coaxial digital audio out.

I did a little "calibrating" to the old Zenith and it actually produces a rather rich picture, despite it being fed an interlaced composite video signal (only manner it can accept video, though the Philips micro theater system can produce progressive video over component).

It would be nice if they really were ribbon tweeters, but alas, they are just decorative grilles made to look like ribbon tweeters. Beneath is a standard cone tweeter, but the tweeters on these speakers to produce substantial output on their own. Interestingly, the enclosures are ported and have flared port openings. Bass extention is satisfactorily good considering 4" woofers. The build-quality is very good overall on this micro system. I have the audio components sitting side-by-side (not stacked as shown). It's a very versatile little setup. To bad it's not BD.

I chose two although we have a third one that gets used VERY rarely.

The Family Room and kitchen are the two that gets used every day. My wife has one in our bedroom that she will use if she decides to do work there. I don't think I have ever watched anything there. It is only connected to a DVD player. I've been trying to get rid of it for years. I personally hate TV's in bedrooms.

Technically, you have two -- LCD and Projector. They just happen to be in the same room.
