Default Tower??

Last year Tower was pretty darn competitive with amazon on Blu-Ray.
Have they thrown in the towel? Their prices are rediculous.

You mean Tower still exists (online, presumably)?

Yeah, Jan/Feb 2009 I picked up quite a few blus from them at prices less than amazon. Now they are just about on par with borders as far as pricing goes.

I thought Tower.com was gone when their retail stores closed. Guess not!

Warning: Tower.com is the new Caiman.com (Caiman is a long-time Amazon Marketplace seller, and its the company that purchased the tower website. They have since discontinued their own website). Same company, same miserable customer service. They've done away with their phone number (which used to be the only reliable way to get them to actually answer your questions). When you can get a deal, and it's in-stock, it can represent a great opportunity. If it's not in stock, watch out: they charge your card immediately, and won't give you a refund, ever, unless you demand it.

I did not have any problems with them last year but now their prices don't even come close to what is required for me to order from them.
