Picked it up.....for the other system. I didn't think the first one was short, it had tons of replay value to bling out your guns, and they released free downloadable levels. Playing single player sucked in the first one though, I am glad the AI has been upgraded. Although I probaly won't play by myself anyways.

Gamefly sent me a copy yesterday. I should have it in a day or so. Liked the 1st one can't wait to get started on this one. If it is fun looks like I can keep my copy for $40.

I played one multiplayer match. It's a little buggy, but fun. I heard it's about 8-10 hours.

I agree it did have replay value but the story overall was pretty short and by the time they released the free levels I already moved on to another game.

I bought it, but probably won't play it until after I platinum Demon's Souls. Which will hopefully be in the next couple of days.

Yep, will do soon enough.

I just had my first freeze. That damn chaingun guy on mission 2 sucks balls!

But I'm loving it so far. Some pretty epic stuff going on and the AI isn't to bad actually!

I'd say it's around 6 hours. There are 7 chapters. My buddy and I played through the first 3 and we finished all of them around 50 minutes (it tells you the time and stats after each ch.) Also, we are not that good and we got stuck a few times on the bosses. It's fun and harder then the first but i'd rent it if you don't plan on playing multiplayer a lot.

Are you sure it's 7? I think it's six since there are trophies for 1-5 and one for beating the game. Any way I'm on chapter 3 on contracter.

I saw the review on gametrailers....It just looks a little too bland to warrant a purchase, especially in the sea of AAA games that are on the horizon.

I think it's excellent. 9/10. The gameplay feels right to me. Grenade handling could have been better, but that's my only problem. The ai is some of the best I've played with in singleplayer. I'm glad they improved that. The story is thin but it's like an 80's action film. It's there when it needs to be. Nolan North gives an excellent voice performance as usual, with some good snappy one liners. It never let's go either. You rarely have a minute to breath.

The gunplay is awesome. I'm not sold on the new modification system yet for weapons but there are definitely more options due to the way it works now.

The game has quite a few bugs still (one look at the official forums will tell you how bad they can be... especially if you have a 360. PS3 seemed to luck out this time around).

There seems to be a lack of anti-aliasing making the graphics subpar on low rent displays (higher quality displays will soften it for you usually and it should look tight).

It's no shorter than your typical Gears of War campaign. Very similar game... VERY similar.

You can make your own custom masks and armor on the website and port them straight into your game. I tried it last night and was actually able to make a pretty badass mask that was available in my game immediately after I hit save/publish! Was shocked at how fast I was able to use it actually.

The morality system seems to add a new dimension to the game giving it some more replay value (play through good, play through bad and just play through). There are three different endings also as a result.

Shooting the Noki cats makes me happy. I hate those cats. Never did have good luck from them.... NEVER.

PSN = CaptBurn Just be sure to type a message so I know you are from here.

this game actually looks pretty cool. I am just not online enough at 'standard' times to really play with friends.

How is the AI partner?

The AI is much better this time around. A lot more interactive also.

You still gotta micro-manage a little bit, but unless you are running on Contractor mode you really shouldn't have to do it very often.

I beat the game today. It went from a 9 to 8.5 in the last mission. The Ai partner went bat crap crazy stupid during the last mission. No idea why.

I'll be playing through it split-screen style this weekend. I'll have it platinumed in no time.
