We are winning. We invested in players that cost $500 and more. That investment is where the "we" comes in. It's like buying stock in a company, you want that company to win so that you'll see more of a return from that investment. And once blu-ray is finally the only hd media source, then we will get alot more high def titles, especially when Universal, Paramount, and Dreamsworks give up on hddvd.

I started to write a comment on this earlier, but stayed away from it. I'm sorry this is a bit long, but it's how I feel sometimes.

As someone stated earlier, about what "WE" stand for here. "WE" have bought into a company...many of "US" are not stockholders, employees, or have anything else to do with the companies who produce Blu-ray technology, but "WE" have bought into Blu-ray and are supporting our investments just like a stockholder or anyone else would.

The person uses a football team to make an analogy that he obviously doesn't understand...a fan is someone who shows great enthusiasm over something they are passionate about whether it be religion, politics, sports, or in this case Blu-ray. You better believe I'm a Blu-ray fanatic. The people of the sports world know what a fan is: look at those kids standing in the seats at their college football games, those people who flock to the NFL stadiums wearing only paint on their upper torso, or even those who pick up team or player merchandise for whom they love to watch.

Those people who I just mentioned...here's a typical interview someone would have with a true sports team fan...what ties do you have with this sports team? "Well, I bought the merchandise."

Have you ever played for that team? Most would say, "No."

Does this sports teams pay you to come and sit in the stands during freezing temps or during rain storms? "No, but I keep on going."

And why do you keep on going? "Because I want to see OUR team win."

Blu-ray is just like a sports team and "WE" are the fans. When Blu takes a hit, we cringe(thank you sell outs for this--you know who you are)...if Blu winds up with a win, we explode with cheers.

Now, the normal Blu-fan interview...What ties do you have with Blu-ray? "I bought the player and the discs."

Do you work for Sony or any of the other BDA affiliates? Most would say, "No."

Does the BDA pay you to endorse them or to support their format? "No, but I still tell everyone I know the advantages of Blu and I still buy their product."

And why do you keep doing this? "Because they are MY team and I want to see them win."

That is not meant to be a compliment, this article does slam every aspect of Blu-ray and is mostly wrong. Read that crappy article again and you'll see what we are talking about....
