Default Michael C. Hall is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Quote:
Michael C. Hall of Showtime's "Dexter" said he has been battling cancer, says People.

He said he’s almost finished with treatment and it's in remission.

In a statement, the 38 year-old actor said he's lucky to have been diagnosed with the “treatable and curable condition” and thanked his Los Angeles-area medical team for everything they've done for him.

Spokesperson Craig Bankey said Hall’s Hodgkin’s lymphoma is in remission but the actor will continue scheduled treatments.

Hall plans to attend to Sunday’s Golden Globes with his wife and "Dexter" costar Jennifer Carpenter. He's nominated for best dramatic actor and the show as best drama. He will also attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards the following Saturday where Hall and cast are also nominated.

First read the news on IMDB.com, and also on a ton of other sites. Basically saying the same thing.

Wow. That's shocking news, but glad that he's still in good health.
But even more shocking is that he's 38! I never would've guessed that! I would've said early 30's at absolute LATEST!

Yeah I was very surprised when I read that. Never would have expected it, maybe explains why after the season finale of Dexter his hair was so short.

Really hope he gets better.

Been a huge fan of his since Six Feet Under, I'm guessing filming of Dexter was pretty hard on him, a lot more physical role. Glad he's recovering and doing well, I think he's the best actor on television of the last 10 years

That's a shame...at least it's a curable cancer.

Yea he was practically bald in the interview with John Lithgrow, assumed it was for some role or personal preference.

Pretty shocking news. I was amazed by him in Six Feet Under as David and then even more impressed at the 180 he had to do for Dexter. Sure hope the treatment goes well and he beats it!

Just hoping he can fully get rid of it and live a long, healthy life.

I'm just getting into Dexter and I love it!

Well, it is good that he has a treatable type of cancer. Always scary though. He's too young to worry about this shit.

Glad to hear its in remission. He's my favorite actor on TV now, and easily one of the more talented actors in TV or film.
