Default How will my TV handle Blu Ray / PS3 ??

I know it isn't a HDMI but a component connection upto 1080i. How will the blu ray / PS3 games look on this tv? Below is a link to my TV specs.

How does your TV look with HDTV broadcasts?

I have issues with the way your TV is portrayed on the website. It looks like it is a CRT television - that means that it is analog. It only has analog video inputs... analog.

The only real digital thing on that TV maybe an internal ATSC tuner, but that isn't listed on the page you linked to.

HOW WILL IT LOOK? If the TV is a good looking display, then you set your PS3 output to 1080i and it should look great!

My TV does look good, but was concerned about using component connection with the PS3. I assume this will look good on 1080i since it doesn't come with a HDMI connection?

It should look fine with component - fine as in the best that your TV can do for now. Of course you should know already that to output the component out, you must use the Multi-Out on the PS3 that then splits into Component and 2-channel audio. According to various reports, if you already have one from your current PS2 you should be able to use the same one to connect your PS3.

Default Connecting BLUE RAY and PS3 to HDMI port using HDMI switch.

One of the things to look out for when selecting a new TV that you might want to use with a PS3?Blue Ray is the number of HDMI connections. Its one of those small details that is easily missed when you consider the other things..LCD vs plasma, brands, costs, screen size and etc.

HDMI is the new digital interface to get HD digital video from your PS3, BlueRay player, settops to your HDTV.

I definatly would get a TV with 2 HDMI inputs if you plan on having PS3 because you probably need to connect your HD settop box and your PS3/Blue Ray player to it using the HDMI.

I had a TV that had only 1 HDMI input. I happen to have both the HD DVD and BLUE RAY, BDP1000 ( which I prefer because it loads so much faster) and plan on connecting a PS3 ( if I ever get hold of one!) by using an external HDMI switch which lets you connect multiple HDMI sources to a single HDMI port like this:

Anyone, have a PS3 to sell?
