Default LCD or Plasma for pc/text viewing

Hi, we are looking at getting a huge screen to replace our projector here at work, like a 65" or so screen. I was wondering if LCD or Plasma or what would be best for being connected to a PC and showing things like Spreadsheets and maybe power point presentations? Our projector now is a bit old and spreadsheets are hard to read.
Any input/help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Its bad for plasmas to have still images/data on screen for long periods of time, and there are more options available for LCD when you go above a 55" screen as well..

Ok, so we want an LCD. For text, we want a high contrast ratio, is that correct? Anything else I should look for?

Why not just get a new projector? The models available now would undoubtedly improve upon the one you are currently using and cost less than a flat panel of even a remotely similar size.

I could check into projectors but everyone seems to be on board with the Tv, they've been to a few companies conference rooms where they used a TV and really liked that whole set up..
