You want real "Future de-evolution satire" with a scary bite to it, reading is fundamental...Only one of the two stories had "boner" jokes and wimpy balding comedy-relief generals talking ghetto pimp-speak, and the book wasn't it.

I thought Idiocracy was decent. The first 10 minutes were along my lines of thinking. Most of the rest was pretty entertaining, even if a lot of it is bathroom humor.

I love the evolution of the different industries like how the Carle's Jr. Star turns into an angry face

"Welcome to Costco. I love you." Hilarious.

By the by, I'm not a Mike Judge worshipper but I think his movies and King of the Hill are pretty good.

There are funny parts, but I agree Idiocracy is a bit messy and didn't live up to its potential. It's no Office Space, but it's fairly quotable.

I really wanted to like this movie, but in the end it disappointed.

The concept was great, but the result didn't live up to the idea.

I love when after the credit's Upgrayedd shows up. But I always laugh at the introduction of Upgrayedd as well. God where is the BR release of this movie!?!?

Officer Collins: [addressing military brass about Rita's background] We did, however have to come to an arrangement with her pimp. A gentleman who goes by the name Upgrayedd. Which he spells thusly, with two D's, as he says, "for a double dose of his pimping".

Most important movie of the decade. Mike Judge is a genius. I see Idiocracy everywhere I go now. Actually more of a horror movie than a comedy, if you catch my meaning.

I mean really....how far away are we from this becoming reality? You already see the "Sci-Fi channel" renamed itself "Sy-Fy" for the grammatically challenged dolts out there who had no idea how to read it. Everything will be dumbed down more and more as the years go on.

The set was pretty big for the Costco shoot!! In one of the Costco scenes im the guy walking up the stairs scratching his ASS!!!

It was a nice Master Shot. Mike Judge is a really cool dude.
