The 100 Cheesiest Film Quotes? - Blu-ray Forum

Don't know if I'd agree that these are the 100 'cheesiest' movie quotes of all time, but this video montage I found on the brilliant Sasha Stone's Awards Daily site brought back some great memories of film lines so legendarily campy or silly that many have entered the pop culture lexicon.

There's the obvious suspects from Arnie's numerous puns, J-Lo's turkey vagina reference in "Gigli", Anakin in the "Star Wars" prequels, Stallone in "Judge Dredd", Nic Cage in "Wicker Man", and the immortal "Showgirls" tease "Must be weird not having anyone cum on ya". What's surprising is a healthy mix of great films in here too (including a few award winners).

I don't know about many of these being "cheesy" so much as well known or cliche.

Good example: the scene in Cast Away where he calls out to Wilson was a very powerful scene in a very good movie, I think. He had spent 3+ years by himself and one of the reasons he was able to stay sane and motivated to get off the island was by pretending Wilson was a friend, someone to talk to, like when he was discussing his plans for building the raft. When Wilson becomes dislodged from the raft and Tom Hanks agonizes over the choice of staying on the raft over collecting the thing that has come to symbolized his hope and inspiration for rescue and he then realizes that he is alone, whatever will happen to him, completely alone at the mercy of the sea, it is a very moving scene.

That whole video should have just been "Batman & Robin".....I don't think there's a single line from that movie that's not filled with some sort of cheese.
