Pitch a Perfect Game, Win $1,000,000 - Blu-ray Forum

2kSports is offering a $1,000,000 reward to the first person who can pitch a perfect game in MLB 2k10, on either PS3 or Xbox 360.

There are no real details about how they plan on detecting any cheaters, but it may make the game worth a rental (because, seriously, there's no reason to buy it over MLB '10: The Show).

wow, i can see many people loosing sleep, their jobs, dropping out of school, just to try and do something that probably can't be done! HA HA, this will be fun to watch

Interesting marketing ploy but it still wouldn't make me go out and buy the game.

The contest will end after the 1st day and then no one in their right mind will purchase the game anymore.

MLB The Show > 2k and it's not even close

this is a sham to get people to play the game.
once someone pitches a perfect game nobody will care about mlb 2k

i agree. i keep saying to myself, "when are these guys gonna make a college hoops game?" MLB The Show is in a league of its own when it comes to any sports game.

Yeah, considering it will probably only take a day or two for someone to claim the prize, I wonder how they plan on enforcing the street date, so that everyone has a fair chance.

If they make the rule that submissions won't be accepted until the day of release, someone could still get the game early, and then just pause the game with 2 outs in the 9th, and wait for release day.
