Gladiator and the Bournes. Missed when Gladiator was 9.99. Curses! Like to see King Kong come down some too.

All of them!!!

Seriously though, the top ones on my wishlist would be "Escaflowne: the Movie," the "Fullmetal Alchemist" movie, the "Planet of the Apes" collection, maybe the original "Star Trek" series, "Gremlins," and the Pixar short films collection. Everything else seems reasonably priced...

The Fall.
I love this movie: The visuals are amazing, the performances genuine, and the story is compelling & doesn't take a backseat to the rest of the film. But I can't see paying $23 to upgrade from the DVD.

Sword of the Stranger. It has never dipped below $21!

Damages, Samurai 7, and King Kong as well.

That's another one I've been wondering about. I'll probably buy it if it drops below $20.

I bought it over a year ago for about $16-17 from eBay. Give that a shot.

Ah yes, E-bay. I've been meaning to open a new account there; some low-priced BDs would be sweet, and I'm hoping to get some 3-disc cases from them!

Dr. Strangelove. I think it was down to $12.99 once, but I missed it.

The schedule of price drops always comes down to how the studio runs their business. WB, for instance, believes in price cuts across the board after a title has been on the market for some period of time. Their schedule is predictable, except for a few prestige titles like Wizard of Oz. Sony is good on dropping catalog product for the most part, though new releases is very hit-or-miss. They have many movies that sell for like $10 on the secondary market, whereas buying a new copy retail will still run $25.

Each studio handles the process differently, and it pays to know the variances. Disney is the stingiest studio, rarely dropping list price. They simply let stock sit in a warehouse, rather than cutting the price to move extra units.
