It's not really an if but a when...what does disney want to do on the bd will it be
out this christmas or next halloween because those are the 2 times of year they'd release it.

Hopefully sooner rather than later but i won't expect it in spring or summer.

Just as toy story 1 and 2 WILL be released when 3 is coming which means
2009 is the earlist we'd see it. Pixar has a cute robot movie next summer
so watch carefully because pixar's next flick is the last trailer before the actuial
short,movie begans.

Nemo's next year and i'd love to see monsters, incredibles and bugs life as soon as possible but i doubt all that will make it in 08 because there's also the robot movie for next nov on bd.

I'd love it -- one of my all time favorites!

I actually went to the store to look for it today only to find out the DVD seems to be out of print. It's sort of frustrating when movies like this become out of print -- it's not like it's an old or undesirable movie either (obvious by the fact that it's hitting theaters again).

The DVD sucks anyways. For some reason they've never released an anamorphic version in the U.S.. I ordered mine from the UK.

I am looking forward to this one! My sister used to watch this to death and I would get so tired of it...then I grew up and we live in our separate homes and I miss watching it.

I run a theatre in CO. We are running it for a second year in a row now and Disney has told us it will return next year as well for October of 2008. From what I know, it could be released next year on Blu becuase it will be the 15th anniversary. I am doubting it right now. If they are releasing it every October to sell out houses, they may want to hold off until the buzz wears off the welcome.

They can keep it for now. I've got too many things to buy.

When it does come out, I'll buy it.

Default Nightmare Before Christmas

Too bad this movie hasn't been released in time for Halloween/Christmas (and no announcement yet) but could it be with the pending RE-Release of the 3D version, could this mean we will be seeing this title Q1/Q2 08? I should hope so... I'm a big fan of Tim Burton and stopmotion animation... Corpse Bride was stellar!

The released the 3D version in theaters last year this time too, so it's not exactly new.

I hope we get a release soon, but I dont think it will be the 3D version that causes it.

I don't think Disney will release it...

For some reason, they have always treated it like the red-headed step child...

They even released it under Touchstone at first...didn't want it to have the Disney logo attributed to it...

This should be the new "movie to watch at x-mas time" and not "A Christmas Story or "It's A Wonderful Life"
