Default PS3 better hardware deal than 360.

Is it now the time for the public to buy a PS3 ? This guy thinks so.

Yeah, it's nice to see Sony getting good press, since all these news outlets have been hard on them.

There is another thread about how Sony is doing better than XBOX did after 1 year.

I think it was pretty much a lock from the beginning, due to the console's 10 year lifecycle.

This time last year, the 360 had 23 games. PS3 has 59 avaliable at BB. You hear that PS3 does not have enough games and it will fail. What does this say about the 360. You have heard about the new 360 that they are planning to build. If they keep trying, after a few more try's, MS will have made a PS3.

Yeah, in agreement. There are about 17 for that period in the Editor's Choice column at IGN.com. Given the amount of crap games on the 360, multiply that four times and there is a ballpark estimate.

Yeaah, they definately had more games than that, even if most of them sucked until Gears of War came out.

Sony got a lot of heat for the original PS3 cost. Most folks shuddered at the$600 price tag, and saw a $300 Xbox as a much better deal. I won many a console argument by just adding up all the Xbox extras that it would take to make it comparable to PS3. But, as usual, there are always the haters. I love it when people say "PS3 is trash. Xbox is better quality". Just ask them to explain to you the difference in quality. It's very amusing to see what nonsense that they can pull out of their posterior.

i have an xbox and an ps3 and i think they are both good deals. Right now the games edge goes to xbox because of games like Halo and Bioshock(and Mass Effect is gonna be awesome). I love my playstation though, because i now have Blu-Ray capabilities and Warhawk is amazing with bigger and better games on the horizon.

Sony are playing the long game and in 2008 things will really start happening for them, MS played the short win and it's now starting to show.
