Default YouChoose.net 65% Blu !!!

I checked out the http://www.YouChoose.net/campaign/bluray_vs_hd_dvd site, and Blu-ray is reflecting the same stats as the Movie sales 2:1 !!!

I got tired of reading the same old HD DUD arguments on why we should settle for mediocracy and choose their inferior product so I left a long vent, as I think I am quite unbiased considering I don't even own anything High Def. yet, and have done my research, following all the trends. So check out the site... I left my message under my alias there (Charles L.)

Hopefully this Christmas will see average sales pass that point and some movement by a studio or two. Should set up even greater momentum so that by next Christmas we're in for sales numbers that leave no room for bullcrap from any holdouts.

nice posting, i like how the hd-dud people argue at all the facts against how blu is killing them even during the whole week when their biggest title of the year (transformers). im sure the WB is looking at that too wouldnt be suprised if WB is blu-exclusive in 2008

Their comparison contains a number or critical errors:
http://www.youchoose.net/campaign/bl...d_hd_dvd-tabid

Quote:
HD DVD has a thicker protective layer, making it more scratch resistant than Blu-ray
Lie. Blu-ray has a protective scratch resistant hard coating.
Under Studios supporting HD DVD, they list:
Quote:
Buena Vista Home Entertainment
The Walt Disney Company
Lie number 2

They also have Paramount on the Blu-ray side and Lionsgate, Magnolia, Touchstone and Miramax are missing on the blu-ray side.

I just checked the site again, and in less than a day, it turned from Blu 65%-HDDUD 35%, to Blu 66%-HDDUD 34% !
