Australia Die Hard Quadrilogy boxset

Was thinking about importing this boxset as Die Hard with a Vengeance isn't out yet in the UK (most likely will be cut too), just wanted to know if Die Hard 4.0 that is included in this set is the R rated uncut version or the PG-13 theatrical version ?

Shame, thanks for the info anyways guys.

Will just pick up the Australian release of Die Hard with a Vengeance, hopefully we'll see the R rated Die Hard 4.0 on blu soon.

Yeah, this was picked up by The Digital Bits also.

EzyDVD has a listing for a new Die Hard Quadrilogy on 28/07/2010. It says it's a 5 disc set with a bonus game. Who knows if the extra disc is just the game or not. It'll most likely include the new version of 4.0 if it's getting a re-release.

Me, I would have to see significant changes to warrant purchasing a new edition. The film and specs themselves on the current disc are very good so I don't see the need to upgrade at the moment. Besides, with the planned Die Hard 5 purchasing another Quadrilogy seems pointless.

Cover art show 4 discs for the movies, so I think it is safe to say the 5th disc is the game.... no mention of a new version of Die Hard 4 either....and there is no single disc release for it, which I would expect if it has been re-authored.

Yeah I'm sure they would have some kind of advertisement about D4 being the 'R-Rated' version. Just new packaging to include the game, and by the looks of it, a single amaray case instead of the four single cases. Added to Database a few weeks ago.

Would love to see a release of the R-Rated cut, but it looks unlikely at the moment. Hoping for Die Hard 5 though!

I don't know of anyone who's bought it, but as noted before interestingly the Classification web site lists a total disc run time for Die Hard 4.0 Intercept Edition of 10 minutes longer than the original Blu-ray. Whether that's for the film or just part of the added content for the game I'm not sure. Interesting all the same. Hopefully someone who's bought it can shed some light on the matter.

I have a copy of the set, but I am re-watching the films in order and I am not familiar enough with 4.0 to know how to tell which version it is?!

The film run time on the original release is 2:08.44. If you're able to check the run time on your disc that would be great as we could then know whether those 10 minutes are in the film or in extra content. I'm suspecting extra content, but who knows? We may be surprised.

If John McClane actually gets to say his well known catch-phrase (yippie kai yay mother ****er) at the end, its uncut, otherwise its the watered-down version.

Figured... I was sure it would be advertised on the front or back if it was included.
