Default How many did your store sell this week?

There seems to be quite a few people on this forum who work in stores that sell Blu-ray and HD-DVD titles.

So does anyone have sales data for their store this past week or at least anecdotal avidence of BD vs HD sales?

Edit:- player and movie sales.

Last week (last Sunday to Saturday) 47 stand alone blu players and 4 hd dvd players. Those figures don't include PS3 for a BB store in Miami.

Wow. If that's not just one store, but a trend nationwide, then that's going to give a nice bump to the software ratios.

i dont look up store numbers like that for me.

but lol today was funny

guy comes in "hey bb is giving away a toshiba HD dvd player with their 52" toshiba tv, can you do the same like if i buy a 52" sony i get a blu-ray or if i get a 52" toshiba i get a blu-ray." im like uhhh no..

hes like crap i wanted a blu-ray..

sooooo

i told him to keep the hd -dvd player unopened and take it to a local walmart i know of. When my uncle sent me a ps3 "i already have 2 in the house" i took it there unopened and they gave me a walmart credit for it. I sure as hell wasnt mailing it back to my uncle thats 500 bucks for me.

I mentioned who to talk to at the customer service desk incase he ran into trouble and said "just trade it in then for a blu-ray player." Guy laughed said awesome.. said sounds like a plan and left.

although i dont know if he'd really do it but oh well

...sometimes I wonder what goes through consumers heads; it's not all about the price, quality matters too.
