Default Dream Projector!!!!!!!!!

This is the new projector from Wolf Cinema. It has ALL of the bells and whistles! It is one of the first projectors (that I know of) that can show movies in ANY format!!!(1.85,1.78,2.35.1,2.40.1,etc.) WITHOUT the use of an external lens!!!(AKA-Anamorphic lens) I was wondering when do you guys think that "REGULAR" (meaning afforadble) projectors will start to be able to do this? 2,3,4 years from now! I know that i'm hope for SOONER rather than later I definitely think that this is the wave of the future! Let me know your thoughts???

This one's Dream'E.

Joe Kane suggest using a different projector for anamorphic video than you do for 16:9 viewing. In fact, for most people that would cost less than an anamorphic lens.

They need to sale them at lets be reasonable shall we. £500.00 UK that will sale like hotcakes $85 grand they can keep it! A 35mm projector is around £30 grand and that is real cinema projector.

Home cinema market thinks this is glamorous thing and with greedy overpriced video projectors and lamps, they need to get real.

My final offer I will pay £500 with lamp costs around £10 pounds that is more reasonable for us consumers!

Home cinema is none profit where cinema makes profit to keep on running. Expect not to pay silly prices now, and just be cool and wait for the realistic pricing that all can afford, even the stinking poor like me. Now then.

I thought the panasonic's later gen projectors offer lens shift memory and costs alot less than the Wolf. It may not be nearly as bright, but unless if you want to drive a really big screen (say 20-30 feet) it is not worth it. Projectors such as the Sim2 CX3 3 chip series are much better values and it doesn't look like a boxy tank, it may not offer lens shift memory like the Wolf, but really unless if you use a really big screen, you may be better off buying a cheaper high end projector, like the Sim2, with a nice anamorphic lens, and still have money for other home theater enhancements (Like seats, room design, screen and masking and audio). It is actually better to use a high quality lens since it also uses the whole chipset of the projector (brightness and resolution), which can make it more ideal for larger screens.

"through the use of Wolf’s VariScope motorized zoom lens"

does that mean that this is a $80k "fake" (aka anamorphic lens emulation feature) projector, like the $2k Pana ae4000?
