Face/Off UK import on Blu: the final word - Blu-ray Forum

Has there ever been a final word in the US as to whether the UK Blu of Face/Off is A) the uncut version and B) will play in US PS3s? I've looked all over for definitive, truthful info on this and can't find any. Anyone here pick up the disc? I'm about to place a Amazon.co.uk and wanted to get it if it'll play and isn't edited but I don't want to bother for a cut, unusable disc.

Also, anyone have recommendations for other titles I can't get in the US? I was thinking of getting Starship Troopers.

It plays on the PS3 and has some cuts. The Japan version (which I believe also plays on the PS3, since I think we're the same regional coding) is uncut.

Both the UK and the Japan-version are region free and plays in all Blu-ray players:

Disney does not region code their catalogue movies.

I can personally verify, first-hand, that both things are true. It has two shots of a butterfly knife opening removed, and it plays on the american PS3. Swear!
