hello all,

PQ: Grainy
Sound: DTS-HD Master

Film was just okay. Glad I saw it at home. Another version of "SAW."

I am watching it now and it looks terrible. It's grainy as hell. Is it meant to be that way? If it is then nice job, if not then this blu sucks.

It's this movie. I've seen other posts about it being grainy too. It has nothing to do with my setup as no other Blu''s look like this. I'm just wondering if it was an intentional graininess or just a crappy blu transfer.

You could rent it at Blockbuster. it came out February 12th.

I think the grain is intentional in the movie.

Holy crap this is out? Damn lol completely went under my radar! I saw it in theaters and I thought it was a pretty entertaining movie. I loved all the scenes of the robber maneuvering around away from the killer. I am a sucker for horror films though! It's the only genre, for me, were bad acting doesn't completely ruin the film.

Yea it is very grainy, although I'm not sure that it really adds to the movie at all. I thought it was pretty good for a B-rate movie. Very reminiscent of the Saw series.

Does BB have this in store on blu? I have it on regular dvd but didn't see the blu there, and I'd much rather watch it in HD.

Yeah, I saw parts of this Blu-Ray disc at work.
I love this movie, saw it the first day it came to theaters.

The PQ is as expected, and as it has been said, grainy as hell.
However, the AQ shined pretty well throughout. The sound equipment at work isn't that great, though, but the sounded pretty good for the speakers it was on. This will be a day ONE purchase for me!

Because it was originally started life as Saw IV until someone leaked the story out. They had to change it.

I saw it in the theater and it was grainy also. It was shot on super 16mm film which is grainy film. So the blu-ray is the way the film is supose to look.

I saw it in theatres and it was quite dark and grainy. I imagine on Blu, the grain will hated by some, and loved by others. I was thinking to myself, "This would look great on Blu with all this grain!!" I'm one of those...if it's intentional, then keep it the way it is supposed to be,

I'm assuming, of course, that it was intentional. But due to the type of movie in question, and its low budget origins, the grain is, in fact, supposed to be present.

Looking forward to early April!!
