any idea when amazon will start taking orders? I want to be ready, and checking the site every 15 minutes or so.

I can tell you that preorders for either console have already ended. I don't know about tomarrow. Since both consoles are in limited supply. I would check local online stores and see what they have. Some stores are selling bundles that are $1,000 in price so what you spend is up to you. If you can't get either console off of amazon, have a backup website. The following web site address may help:
