Panasonic BD60 "L FVU" - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, so my first attempt at updating firmware has me left with an unusable player constantly displaying "l fvu"

Is it a problem with how i burned the CD ?

I "could" be wrong, but I just updated my firmware (thanks to a CD sent by the kind folks at Panasonic), and just after I put the disc in, that was one of the first messages that came up on the player when it shut down. That was then followed by two or three additional messages within two or three minutes, and then completed by a "finished" on the player. I ejected the disc, turned the player back on, and the firmware was updated.

Did the leave the player alone after the message came up, or did you attempt to turn it back on?

OK, just googled the problem, and discovered a massive thread on the AVS forum (sorry, I don't have a link, but it was the top result when googling the problem code and 'panasonic') that relates to your exact problem. Seems there are certain programs of burning discs that don't work with the panasonic firmware. I'm sure you will find your answer there...
