From what i can remember from the film, it was a clone of Total Recall.

Haven't seen it in a long time though so i might be thinking of something else.

The 6th day is alot like the 5th day.But not like the 7th which you should take a rest.

Just kidding. Movie is OK.Id rent it to see if its worth purchasing it.Some older movies dont transfer well.But if your a Arnold fan go for it!

The 6th Day is not one of Arnold's better efforts, IMO. It takes an interesting concept (cloning) and subverts it in lieu of a tired seek and destroy/rescue action plot. The movie was made in 2000, when Arnold was 53 years old, and he begins to look old (and show signs of cosmetic surgery) in this film, which only worsens its believability factor. Even Robert Duvall seems to be going through the motions, with only the under-appreciated Michael Rooker (IMDb) giving an intense performance as a supporting villain.

It is a good movie to watch when it comes on TV and there isn't anything else on, but I wouldn't waste the money on a purchase unless you're cataloging Schwarzenegger's career.

Not one of Arnies best movies but if you can get it cheap enough i'd recommend it.
