Hollow Man is a great film in my opinion. I don't believe the rape scene and other scenes are for shock value, but to give more insight into what someone might do if they were invisible. I like the extended scenes. This movie was intended to be a sci fi action thriller, and I think it delivered. I think with most Verhoeven movies you either like them or you don't. I hope that we get Starship Troopers very soon. I like the campiness of the humor. The news updates in Robocop, Total Recal and Starship Troopers crack me up...

So if your heart fails during one of these great Verhoeven movies, remember we have a full line of replacement hearts, Yamah, Jensen you pick the heart...

No, I am not like that I just found it interesting he did that scene truly nekkid.
That was all CGI.

Some actors and actresses seem to think they need to get naked the older they get. Kathy Bates, Harvey Keitel, Bob Hoskins. Granted, Kevin Bacon naked isn't as horrifiying as the last three, but some people need to learn to keep their clothes on.

Lol, no way it was all CGI. Too much detail and "natural" moves for it to be CGI. Yes I looked closely.

Drinkmore seems pretty comfortable with himself, seeing as he uses a Johnny Chimpo avatar playing with his banana out in the open. Better watch the blood level in the alcohol stream.

On another note, I watched bits and pieces of a sad sequel to hollow man starring Christian Slater as the main villain. Needless to say, it was one of the saddest things I have ever seen. It doesn't even compare to the first film which I found to be pretty decent.

Johnny Chimp is the sh*t dude! Pure coincidence that I am just as demented.

I did not even bother watching Hollow Man 2. I knew it would suck. First one wasn't that great to start (not bad either).

ryo, ever wonder how the smurfs keep on growing in population when the village is almost all males with the exception of 1 adult female and 1 child female? Just a thought to kill the time.

Well I don't care about the sausage,I liked the movie. I was at Best Buy yesterday and had to ask a manager for Hollow Man and of course they didn't have any. I walked out with a wonderful transfer of Scary Movie. It was perfect. Also grabbed Windtalkers. It wasn't to shabby in the pq department.

That's what I was trying to say. I expected to see a Sci-fi entertainment flick. Instead what I got was a look into someone's mind. (Even the name of the movie, "Hollow Man", is a subtle hint.)

Verhoeven is a great director. But he's also not for the faint of heart.

enjoy

I guess this is one of those films you don't want in 3D. You don't want Bacons bits floating around in front of your face.
