Default Calibration question

Hi all! It's been a really long time since I've posted a question (ever since I set up my system, I've been too busy enjoying it with all these sweet blu-rays coming out!). But now I do have a question. I will be moving soon and I will need to re-calibrate my system, but there's one problem... the calibration microphone that came with my Yamaha RX-v663 is nowhere to be found. Will any external microphone work for the calibration, as long as it has the appropriate jack to plug into the receiver? I know, a simple, silly question, but I just don't know for sure and I didn't want to risk doing any harm to my system. Thanks in advance, guys!

I've read before that the receiver and microphone that comes with it are meant to work together and you might not get the proper setup results using a different one. As ryandubbz said, you should contact Yamaha for a replacement.

Hey, thanks guys! I am not moving for a few months, so I have time to contact Yamaha for a new calibration microphone.
