Dirty Harry, Misery - Blu-ray Forum

Thinking of Getting the original Dirty Harry and Misery as my next purchases. Does anyone own both or atleast one of these? If so how do they look pq?

own both and was very pleased-- MISERY looks better than ever before-- a great catalog release.

Dirty Harry is an older film and was shot with a grittier and grainier film stock so not every scene has a 'wow" effect but having said that-- it's also the best that I've ever seen it--- most of the outdoor scenes are colorful and crystal clear -- you'll notice it with the very first scene with the sniper victim in the swimming pool.

These are well worth buying

You should get the Dirty Harry/Magnum Force Double Feature. It is $14.99 at Best Buy now. Both film PQ is quite good. It is a 2 disc set.

Dirty Harry looks excellent for its age (aside from the opening credits), especially if you have a larger display where you can appreciate the detail.

dont have misery so i cannot comment on that one, but i will echo what others have said about dirty harry. never looked better, and probably never will. great blu ray.

Dirty Harry looks very good for a movie that's almost 40 years old!

Dirty Harry looks teriffic. I didn't expect too much with it but was very pleased with that one.

Misery is fantastic for a back catalogue title. I can't imagine anyone being disapointed with that one.

Thanks for all the feedback. I just ordered Misery, Casino and Dirty Harry on bestbuy.com. Cant wait to get them. I own a little under 20 blu rays and cant stop buying them. Their addictive. I use my ps3 to watch them. I think its better than most stand alone players without question
