Default New TV hunt

Old LCD is sold.

Budget is roughly $1700. Room is basement and dark. Please, no mention of Kuro, it's off the menu for a reason. Also no 3D needed, so please no mention of that either. Thanks for you vote and suggestions.

I voted Panasonic I never did care for Samsung. Is front projection off of the table?

Yep. Already had a DLP, and enjoyed my time with it. The new set will sit on the mount pictured above.

Scored a buzz free B860 on clearance. Counting the money from the LCD I sold, it cost me $85 out of pocket. Pics to come...

Think you should look at LG plasma. LG 60PS11 should run about 1600.
