Does this movie really needs a BD treatment..... I heard six to seven months back that shemaroo is going to release titles in BD but why it took so long for releasing this crap shit movie into BD treatment.... I fear that shemaroo shouldn't be like moser baer. Is there anybody in this forum representing shemaroo studio and marketing.... if so kindly read all the BD reviews of latest releases. BluIndia if you represent Shemaroo how is the quality and what are the specs of this BD.

If there is that ugly watermark on the video, they have automatically failed. I could stand even a SMALL mark like EROS did on their DVDs, but not the HUGE FULL LOGO like on the DVDs.

Well said...

So, if BluIndia is reading this.. please take a note that, the "Shemaroo" logo is not put up on the Movie sequence. Moserbaer atleast did one thing good, by not putting up their logo. So, any guy, from Shemaroo, please take a note of it.
"No Logos" !!

This forum has many ideas, and customer concerns, and it would be more appreciated if all the companies incorporate them. What's the point of these concerns, when we have to point out every now and then.

If there are watermarks and logos surely I ll neglect this disc. The movie is directed by Rajkumar santoshi and I am very eagerly waiting for the disc and if possible any news that Andaz apna apna will get released in BD. Guys from Shemaroo Kindly note this point.

Sherman Oaks , California
USA I will buy this movie

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir's chemistry is amazing, the songs are incrdible in this movie, i will buy it in a heartbeat. The backgrounds in the movie the hilltown .... really lends to hd. Ranbir Kapoor is a great dancer and excellent soundtrak to movie.

Yes i second no watermarks, and no irritating ads for ringtones in songs and moving graphics sheamaroo is known for. blu ray is the " world cup", guys this is the big leagure, give the discs the respect they deserve. We are audio video puritans.

The fact that 'bluindia' has suddenly reappeared and is advocating that 'watermarks' are good and neccesary, is an indication to me that Shemaroo might be on the verge of releasing their first BD with 'watermarks' galore.

Yesterday I watched BLUE on DVD and throughout the entire film, I kept staring at the bottom-right of the screen. The fact is, their watermark is HUGE and it's BARELY transparent. I didn't look at it because the concept bothered me, it was because it was just what my eye kept catching. They might as well have run ads throughout the film.

If they're gonna keep them, make it TINY and BARELY visible. But what is the point of having them? If people are going to steal the video (which is why I assume the watermarks are there), how does a watermark stop them from doing it?

Whether there are watermarks or not, no one cares while pirating. Then why un-necessarily give the customers unpleasant watching experience. I hope, bluindia, or shemaroo is listening, and we expect that they don't give deaf ears.

No company is allowed to add watermarks on retail/rental blu-ray products. It is a copyright infringement as SONY has a controlling share of the technology.

Watermarking is only allowed if the disc is used for non-profit purposes like Showreels, Promotions or screeners.

Shermeroo take note.
