Marantz sr5003 or sr5004?/ receiver help - Blu-ray Forum

whats the difference between these two models?
they look pretty close to me
what one is better?

and i was looking on accessories4less.com, what is the best receiver on that site for $600, no more

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1060855 I wish i had found that thread before i clicked order on the 5003...i would have known what i was getting into. Not saying it's a bad reciever...it's just a bit more advanced than my knowledge of home theater.

I just recieved my sr5003 and haven't had a ton of time to mess with it, still redo-ing the basement a bit more.

It's more technical than my buddies onkyo 607, i'm sure with enough time i'll get it figured out and have some beautiful sound coming from it...but from a plug and play perspective, that onkyo is hard to beat.

The 5004 is the newer model and replaced the 5003. I'm not sure what the differences are, but I've recommended the 5003 for $500 from accessories4less to alot of people in the past.

Get the 5003. ...The xx04 series have some major issues (check AVS official thread).
