PQ on this first slasher film from Taiwan was surprisingly outstanding. It is free from any dirt or scratches and I suspect that it was shot with HD video camera rather than film. The movie is so so, but you do get to see Maria Ozawa in HD. The audio choices are Mandarin in PCM 2.0, dts HD MA 5.1, or DD 5.1. However dts HD MA track is off sync throughout the movie. I found PCM 2.0 track to be much superior.

I noticed the DTS-HD track was out of sync like you say. But the 2.1 PCM track is a poor substitude: I thought it sounded very flat. But at least it is in sync. Picture quality was alright: the opening is pretty soft and noisy, but it gets better after that (3 out of 5 for the picture quality, I'd say).

I recently found out who Maria Ozawa is, and this led me to reading about the fascinating world of AV Idols in Japan. They seem to garner more respect and have more potential "mainstream" crossover ability than Western adult film stars, which is very surprising.

It's a shame the 5.1 audio on this BD is out-of-sync, because I'd be curious to get it just to see Ozawa's acting abilities.

And just FYI, there are now several more Maria Ozawa titles on Blu-ray (even a 3D Blu-ray!?), but they are not of the kind that can be found here.

In fact, Maria Ozawa is no longer as popular as few years back. She is now mainly doing those uncensored AV (without mosaic). You can see her private part and actual penetration. Uncensored AV is supposed illegal in Japan. But the producing company registered it as US company and produced in US. Not sure about the details. I read in a Taiwan AV forum. Somebody had successfully ordered some Uncensored AV blu-rays. But they don't ship with the case (Only with the cover) to avoid it being caught in the Customs as porno materials. You may check on the label of the producing company and look for their website if you are interested.
You may check out another popular AV idol - Sora Aoi. She has blu-ray released (a HK non-AV movie) - Revenge - A love story.
