Love it, had Vista in my laptop for 6 months. No blue screens. Upgraded to Windows 7, had 4 in 3 weeks.

Is it possible to do a clean install with only an upgrade disk?

I have no idea how to decypher blue screens, probably easier to wipe it all out.

Yes, you can do the clean install from the upgrade disc. Just put the disc in your disc drive and reboot the laptop. Boot from the disc drive (You may have to change the boot device order in the BIOS).
