Australia Faulty Godfather 2 Disc

I purchased the Godfather box set about a year ago. Anyway finally got around to watching GF 2 and hello the movie froze at chapter 14 and would not play again till chapter 16. I checked the disc and all was good.

Apparently this is a know problem and Paramount are aware of it. I rang them today and they want me to send the disc in. Should I do this? If they are aware of it then why can't they just send a replacement!

they want to replace the disc for you. anyone could ring them and complain without even buying the movie so thats why they want it sent back in.

one reason anyway.

i think its a issue with the region B pressing only i ran into it on my copy (im a aussie to) and i just got a refund i took it back to the store i brought it from , i remember there was a post about some people in the uk having the same problem but i can't recalling any US members saying it had affected them.

I'm an Aussie. I bought it here at JB Hifi about 12 months ago. Don't have the receipt anymore so I can't take it back. The problem seems to be with the B region only. I guess I am going to have to send it in.
