I never played the original, so this was a blind-buy. I couldn't be happier. This is one of the craziest fps I've ever played. The near endless waves of enemies on certain levels is insane. The original music score is stellar as well.

Has anyone else tried it out yet?

I played the original and the second encounter and yes the game is almost like an endless encounter of enemies. Lots of fun! I've been tempted to try out the new HD releases but have not checked to see what the cost is. How much is it?

I got for only $6.00 off Steam when they had a sale, but now it's back up to $14.99

Not sure what other online places carry it though.

I've been wondering about this. I have all the SS games. Bought them when they came out. I just love the mindless shooting. I have been wondering if it's worth the upgrade.
