Default "I,Robot" Update

Click here for the High-Def Digest article.

----snip----
Among the features now planned for the BD-50 disc are several audio commentaries, a an annotated fact track, a searchable content index, a D-Box enhanced audio track, and a series of "Behind the Camera" featurettes, which will be delivered via seamless branching.

Additionally, the studio is promising a new "dual-menu navigation system" for the title, which it says will allow for easier access to the disc's bonus features.

Other tech specs will include the studio's standard 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer, plus DTS-HD Master Audio.

I'll ask again, when was this movie ever officially given a release date?

As long as they do a good job on the damn movies I could care less if they are delayed. I would rather wait a couple of months and get something that is kick ass then something like universal is doing for timecop

Yes but Fox never announced a relesae date... So how could this have been delayed if Fox never announced a date for it in the first place?

They did 'announce' an ESTIMATED release date in the original Press Release. It was a date given that they 'hope to have it released' by. And it simply never got 'official' announcement for retailers.

In any case, I'm glad they are working on giving it a proper release with nice features. It will be worth the wait.

Are we sure it's this month? I thought I saw that it was pushed back to January 08?

We're sure that it's NOT this month, hence all the 'delay' talk
