Default Post A Pic Of Your Old School Gear (Mine's Moved To That Big Transistor In The Sky)

Ran into this the other day quite by accident and the old memories came rushing back in a flood. So I thought, share a pic of your vintage 2 channel gear if your can.

Here's my old IA in all of its magnificence:

Great idea for a thread Fred!

Mine moved into the home of the person that decided to rip me off! Yes, my beloved (in storage however) vintage gear was stolen.

I couldn't find a pic of the Sharp Optonica dual cassette deck (paid $720CDN back in the day), but here are 2 pics of the Pioneer and Kenwood.

This is an Infinity Reference One bookshelf that I've had boxed up for the last 18 years. They are still in perfect condition and sound much better than I expected.

Beauty!

Gotta try and dig up some pics (don't even know of I still have them...divorce and crap) of my BIC Ventura Formula 4 speakers. They were a mid-range horn design and front-vented.

Hi John, I had originally thought to put them up for sale. But then, for the money I would get for them, why bother. At least these Infinity's are actually made in the USA!

Dig up those pics dude!

Currently, I am actually using my classic Technics SU7300 amp to power my Polk SDA II's.

Found a nice pic of what my old main speakers used to look like. They've moved on to parts unknown as well.

Marantz 2245
LED lights mod just adding in 2 weeks ago, still need to solder in the function lamps.

Dual 1264

Still on the lookout for a new TT, don't like to be limited to this one type of cart as the 1/2 " adapter is very hard to find at a reasonable price.

Pioneer 535

A friend gave me this a few weeks ago. Trying to find time to clean it up. The tuner seems to work a bit better than the Marantz, so this may be used just for radio.

Just love the vintage Marantz receiver. Had one very similar in '78 and wish I still had it now.
