Default So California Blockbuster Closing!!! Walnut 91789

Just a heads up for Southern California people, the Blockbuster at Lemon and La Puente in Walnut CA(91789) is CLOSING!! They have a huge inventory sale. I have not had a chance to go in yet but there are probably some good deals.

Hope your Blockbuster closing goes better than ours. Discount on new blus on day 1 of liquidation was 10%. Discount on last day of liquidation was 10%. I don't think they sold 1 new blu the whole time. At the time you could get the X-MenTrilogy anywhere for $30-40. They sold each individually for $30.

Good luck.

That sounds terrible. I'll try to check it out today and see what prices look like.

When my Blockbuster closed about 2 yrs. ago, it was under the auspices of "moving to a new location" so they didn't sell anything.

Surprise! They are still closed.

My local Blockbuster just closed a few weeks ago. I walked in during their closing sale. Most Blu-rays were $13.99 or $16.99 used and in a beat-up rental DVD sized case. I wasn't tempted. Amazon can give me brand new discs and packaging delivered to my door at prices not much different than that.

I was sorry to see them close though. I had rented from them for years.

One of our Blockbuster in my hometown closed, then open shop two weeks later, because of popular demand - . True Story.

I live in SoCal, BTW.

One of the blockbusters in my town closed about 2 months ago but they wasn't selling any blu's they were just giving them to the other blockbuster in town so i was disappointed. But i did take a bunch of those cardboard backers to maybe put in a frame or something don't know yet. And also i bought Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles season 1 on dvd for 3 dollars. I know it sucks it wasn't on blu but i couldn't pass it up.

Checked it out last night. Most are 12.99-16.99 and 30% off that price. They had a decent selection of titles but you get their crappy DVD case.
