Is there anyone from the US who is coming to Europe anytime soon? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi everybody,
first of all, this is an offtopic thread, but mods, please do not move it, as this request is only for my Steelbook section buddies.

So... if there's anyone here who is currently in the US and plans to go to ANY European Union country within next 1-2 months, please PM me. The request is about transporting one thing I need to buy to European Union. I would like to stress that I need to buy it, not just want - I need it as a tool to work with. This thing is available in US only, and is not illegal

The reason I ask for it and not use FedEx or any other transport service is I would have to pay a sh*tload of taxes and customs fees, which would simply kill me

If this thing was brought to European Union and sent to me then, I wouldn't pay any tax or custom fee at all.

I will explain the whole situation with all the details privately to anyone who would be willing to help me.

haha, so he doesnt wanna pay customs but wants you to get caught importing goods without paying tax....I dont see anything wrong with that at all

The thing is to unpack/unseal/whatever the new product so it stopped being new. If a person has it as a luggage/personal stuff it is not taxed on the border. And if it's sent inside the European Union it is not taxed either.

$100 reward + I'd cover the excess luggage fee if applied (just need to know how much would it be, if it still makes this thing a good deal) + the courier shipping cost inside EU.
